The PARALLEL PLUS® Bible-study app is designed for pastors, lay leaders, and individuals actively seeking a deeper understanding of the Scriptures. With up to 7 columns and over 170 versions, PARALLEL offers a comprehensive resource for studying the Bible. It also includes Greek and Hebrew word studies, such as verse lists and unabridged Thayer/BDB/Schleusner, as well as exegetic helps like parsings and translation tips. This app is available for free online installation.

When using PARALLEL PLUS®, as you read through a column in one version, you can easily compare how other versions express the same verse in its context by simply moving your eyes left-and-right. The goal is to minimize eye movement and allow you to immerse yourself in the Scriptures.

A standout feature of PARALLEL PLUS® is its inclusion of biblical languages. Users can view Hebrew and Greek in parallel with other versions and look up corresponding Hebrew or Greek words and their occurrences by tapping on any word. Additionally, detailed information about phonetics, parsings, parts of speech, and translation tips can be accessed by tapping on any verse.

For those who desire a deeper study, the app provides opportunities to tap on any word for word studies that include verse lists, lexical entries, and word families. Similarly, tapping on any verse allows users to access verse-at-a-time helps with color-coded parts-of-speech, word forms, phonetics, syllables, and translation tips. Furthermore, the search function enables users to locate specific Bible verses even with limited knowledge of the exact wording.

PARALLEL PLUS® also offers the ability to make notes and highlight verses. By signing in, users can create notes about a verse, a word in a word study, or their own translation of a verse. These notes automatically appear in the parallel Bible alongside each corresponding verse or occurrence of the word.

Being an online-only app has its advantages. TheBible.org can promptly update content and make corrections as needed, ensuring readers have access to the most accurate information available. Moreover, in today's increasingly connected world, internet speeds continue to improve, resulting in outstanding performance for users. Although internet speeds may currently be slower in certain developing countries, this gap is expected to close in the coming years.

In addition to aiding personal study, PARALLEL PLUS® supports social interactions by allowing users to share Bible verses with friends. This feature enables individuals to use the app as a tool for sharing the gospel.

It's worth noting that this app caters to both Protestant and Catholic users. Verses are automatically aligned by content and display corresponding verse numbers even when different.
